Re: killzone online

it was dying
i found out that the older thick PS2's didnt have a good power chip or something
and that the process of it dying is
1. stops playing PS1 games
2.stops playing blue disk games
3. DEATH

ours lasted like 11 years cause we never used it to watch DVD's

oh and one more thing
i just got a Killzone.com account so ill have CVdarkdude as a online profile also asap
so you might see me as Yokie or CVdarkdude

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Gah.

I don't think the power chip has anything to do with the dreaded disk read error, most problems with it seem to arise from people either failing to clean the lens, or, improperly cleaning it and then trying to recalibrate the laser and such until it finally craps out. Anyway, it's too bad you got rid of it, like I mentioned a while ago, the bigger ones have a lot more potential than the little ones do. Either way, though, it was probably a good decision in the end, the little ones have the ethernet jacks built in, and I'm not sure you can connect to the KZ servers through HDL from the big ones. After I finish with my case mod, I'll see if I can connect and play against you, though I'm not too sure I'll be good competition.

Out of curiousity, how active is the online community for KZ right now, anyway?
