If you're talking about what I think you're talking about, then, no, the prerendered footage that Sony tried to pass off as actual gameplay footage was for Killzone 2, not the original. If that's not what you meant, then, uh... no idea.
That aside, I'm not sure if the online servers for Killzone are still up or not. No one has expressly told me that they aren't, but, then again, no one I know really plays it online. I haven't touched the game in ages, but, you should see if it by some chance is one of the few games with a LAN feature. If it is you can use tunneling software like XLink Kai and still play online with other people regardless of the status of the offical online servers. Even if you can't, though, you really should grab the online adapter for your bulky PS2, it's one of the best investments you can make for it. It not only let's you play online, but it also lets you hook up a harddrive to your PS2, and from there you can softmod it and get hombrew running, which will let you save movies and music and such on your PS2 and watch/listen them whenever you want, among other things. Quite spiffy.
