I oddly remember seeing a demo of this game at Funcoland (ah those were the days). Nice to see the jig make a comeback, and who would have though you have such nice movies, which makes me think how would Ito and John dance to a game like Para Para Revolution.

very nice guys! This video made me laugh quite a bit.
I remember when the game came out in France but i never was attracted to it. just too freaking weird.
I have to say I love Lance's face in the begining :p and your dance! frakking fairies :)

Yeah,
I remember Vib Ribbon quite well. I didn't know that the US didn't get a release for that, but SCEA probably thought that it was too japanese.
Back then I was pretty much longing for more japanese content, the crazier the better.
And this game was just awesome.
I also love the video.
The mumbled flashback voiceover was funny. The reaction shots of Lance were pretty funny. The "redbook audio dance" (something we definately need more to have a long montage on the season 2 dvd) was again VERY funny and when John joined in with the sunglasses and the weird ankle-holding move I was almost falling out of my chair.
I played the game a bit after watching the video. It held up pretty well.

John D makes quite a fairy princess.
Btw, the transliteration of the main character's name (ビブリ） is Biburi. It could also perhaps be construed as Viburi, although in katakana one can write the "vi" sound (and they chose not to use it), so technically Biburi is most correct. |

great facial expressions when you were starting up the game, Lance. and whats better than Lance and John both dancing like jackasses? John as a fairy princess. Oh, and it was good to hear some Starship Amazing in the video. I looks like we make for a tough song!

Ah, only having seen Vib Ribbon screenshots before, it was awesome to see it in action and how it sounded and what the gameplay was like. Good stuff as always :)

Awesome review! i have never even heard of this game before. It looks very unique, and like it actually is a lot of fun!
The entire flashback scene was so funny! And I loved the dancing scene when John joined in! Really great stuff, guys!

I remember this game, never got it since it looked so wierd and I didn't like the music of it (even though you can use your own it still put me off).
This review was great, very funny bit while not distracting from the info you give. Very well done, you guys keep getting better and better! |
