Hey there. I know it is featured in the opening to your videos, but I was wondering if you intend on doing an Earthbound review? The game is, of course, imposing because of the length it takes to really get through it, but a lot of the highlights of the story are early on, in the first four cities. Of course, it is getting more attention then other games you've reviewed, due to the Super Smash Bros. series, and the intensity of the Starmen.net community, but it would still be nice to see what you have to say and maybe convince a few more people to play through it.
For something else, hey, Turrican is awesome.
Anyways, take your time on making the best videos you can, and keep up the good work. |

Bucky O'Hare aka the "Konami Megaman" for the NES would be very appropiate.
This game is totally underrated and imo just as awesome. |

It's freaking cheap. I got mine boxed and complete in good condition for about 15 bucks on ebay. And as far as I can see the US version ist't that expensive either.
I wasn't aware of buck o'hare until I discovered Michael Golden the artist an co creator of the comic book (who became one of my favorite artists). Too bad that the whole franchise flopped.

I was just thinking (with i dont do often) youve done alot of like NES and SNES games and you could do some of the N64 games, I cant think of many right now cause im only 14 and I only got an N64 like a year ago but ill get some and put them on here. Or you could even do some of the ATARI and PS1 games

there's a couple of ps1 and n64 games that come to mind. but i'd most likey do saturn games first since that system was nowhere near as popular. but in the near future, i plan to stick with 8-bit and 16-bit games. however, i probably wont do atari because i don't own any of them and never really played them as a kid. i was a nes child.

Okay, here are some of the classics that I would like to bring up. Ahh the memoris... :)
1. Robo Aleste (Sega CD)
2. Ecco the Dolphin (Genesis, Sega CD)
3. Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne (PS2) (okay, not quite a classic, but a gem none the less)
4. Sim City (SNES) (My friends and I almost got into a fight when we left the city running all night on the SNES and forgot to turn off disasters. It was in ruins, of course it was sabotage.)
Anyways, just some ideas.
"I want no prisoners!!"
"That will cost extra, ordinance is not cheap." |

I like to use you as a resource so I feel selfish and don't want to give you suggestions.
I've been introduced to Journey to Silius and Wild Arms thanks to HVGN and for that I'm very grateful .
So with that said... please do not to Demon's Crest, Rygar, Ranger X, Ristar, Crystalis, and River City Ransom |

I'll second the Harvest Moon suggestion!
Now as for Crystalis.. the Game Boy version isn't exactly the same game. It's mostly the same, but the differences really made me disappointed. Some of the puzzles were dumbed down, and nice tidbits of plot and dialogue were taken out randomly. Gameplay-wise, they took away the whole issue of elemental immunities, which was one of the defining things of the original game. No more sword swapping for dealing with different monsters. And those soldiers who were always so scary throughout most of the game cause you could never hurt them until you finally got the Thunder sword? Nope, now you can kill em with anything.
Worst of all, and I think the HVGN can sympathize here, they changed the music! Not for the better or anything, they didn't revamp the original's nice tunes. They just swapped it with some generic stuff. Even the beautiful sad theme of Shyron town was replaced. That was the nail in the coffin for me. |
