Well Tom was my favorite part of SA so I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes but right now here are my impressions.

Episode 1:

Tom talking is just an intro to the site

Mickey was pretty bad

Review of No More Heroes: Nice footage but the cometary seemed a little robotic

It had quite a few comercials. I'd say about 4-5 minutes in a 15 minute show.

The talking at the end was basically Sidescrollers with Liz instead of Craig. (and I prefer it in audio form for that part)

Episode 2:

The video in the store seems to be about 20 frames a second. looks kinda choppy, but I thought they sounded a lot more comfortable.

LOL Game Vault....it's so different from Video Game Vault.

Even used the handsom Tom's usless knowlage graphic from SA  lol

Mickey say Fuck like every sentence.

Used the exact same review from episode 1 (No More Heroes)

I dunno, for right now I feel like it's missing something. Similarly to SA of late. I just feel like it's not quite there.

Hopefully it'll get better as it goes.

I don't know what to think so far. It just feels like Screw Attack with different people. I will tell you I don't like Mickey. Not for the fact he downright stole my Shaun of the Dead avitar off the SA Forums, but he just seems like a jerk. He keeps cursing and saying crap to piss fanboys off, and doing that's like shooting fish in a barrel.

I wish they'd just patch things up and get back together. I liked it when it was Tom and Craig. They clicked together, it was fun to watch them. Now you got the interns who I don't find funny at all and Liz seems very camara shy and doesn't talk much.

I'll wait and see what they do in the future, but it's hard to top what they had.

I haven't seen it yet (will soon enough) so can't comment on it yet. But I'm glad they finally have something started up. I was looking forward to it. I liked Tom more, he seems more of a gamer then Graig, but Graig does know how to make a podcast and host it. So yeah the couple was great, apart... Well not so much yet from what I've seen from SA since the break up. I hope both grow more into it. Anyway once I've seen it I'll actually have a better idea on Tom's new show but from what you guys tell me Mickey's going to annoy the hell out of me. We'll see!

I imagine it's hard to keep everything together and to find a direction with this.

I dunno, I would take more time to develop everything and then put a high quality product out.

It's kinda all over the place at the moment but at least they are doing something and did it in a short amound of time. I'm sure they wanted to keep the momentum.

But from the chemistry between the people it seems more honest and balanced than SA even though SA is more professional.

I wonder how many people told Tom after the first episode that his favorite supervillian is actually Thanos ;)

And yeah I have no idea why they call this the 8 bit news. But I liked the bit when Geoff said "You haven't played the game, how can you say it's awesome?".
