Hey guys, I'm here to tell ya'll about a game some of you may be familiar with, and I'm sure most of you are not. It's a little game called Pulseman.

I first got my hands on this game when I was a kid. It was available on SEGA Channel, even though the game wasn't in english. However, it didn't have to be. The main menus were all in English and almost every character in the game spoke...that's right, spoke. Everyone who would speak, spoke in English. It's a wonder this game didn't just come out in America. In fact, here's about the only Japanese you'll see in the game:

It's a fairly unique platformer. Think Mega Man meets Sonic meets Mario. A REALLY cool combination. The style is VERY unique, and the soundtrack is beyond awesome. Here's a couple of screen shots to tickle your eyeballs:

Believe it or not, but those are two screenshots from two of the more BLAND stages, haha. The game, especially visually, is EXTREMELY unique. It's loads of fun, and can provide a fair challenge at times. Most of the bosses are fairly epic as well.
Now you may be asking yourself...why is this guy telling us about a Japanese game he played on SEGA Channel back when he was a kid? Well that's because it is now available on the Virtual Console and a MUST OWN for any retro gamer or SEGA Genesis fan. The game is absolutely amazing, and even more fun now that I'm older and can handle the challenge. While it is fairly easy by today's standards, it's a REALLY fun game and...as I said...a must own. For $6 (either $6 or $8, I forget...either way it's worth $10!) you can't go wrong. Buy it NOW!
