Yes, and i am not kidding around either.
FALSION
A game noone's really played debuted on the Famicom Disk system. For a game being released in 1987 it still is
pretty high up there in terms of what the famicom was capable of and it showed it.
From the very beginning of the game it plays much like GYRUSS but its not in tempest tubes form. The game
itself is about as free roaming as you can get on most games. I guess if i had to say which game comes even
remotely close to this is AFTERBURNER except in AFTERBURNER you are only the center of the screen and can only
shift your ship around.
As for some of the Weaponry in this game there are only two known weapons and it is all you need to squeeze by.
The normal shot is what you start off with in the beginning of the game. once certain requirements are met or
time passes you are rewarded with a "P" that circles around and there are two types of the "P" powerup. The
first one is a light blue P which in turn once collected you gain more speed for your ship. sound a bit
familiar? and there are dark "P" powerups you collect and these powerups are for homing missiles. now here's the
catch one hit and you die, your missiles do not carry over at all. so say you collect up to fifty missiles and
you die you can kiss those missiles goodbye.
The game itself is six stages. each one with a boss and dialog at the end and that dialog is epic.
now before i get to into this i'll post a questioning ending screen of the game and why i was thinking it was a prequel to GYRUSS.
